The T-Mobile update went smoothly and is working well but I have 2 questions:

Can anyone explain the Android release/update numbering scheme?  The T-Mobile Gingerbread update was numbered 1.45.531.1 but the Android release is 2.3.4.  I'm confused.  What is the significance of the numbers?

I have seen the general information about update 1.45.531.1 (software stability, improved battery life and improvements to device reboot / power off, WiFi connection, etc.) but are the specifics documented somewhere?  For instance I am curious about how battery life was improved (I guess because of my IT and software development background I like to know details).

I have the exact same problem. I had hit cancel but I wanted to use a WiFi connection but now my phone can't find the update either. I'm so pissed.

Wow, the screen shot feature is very cool.  Nice catch BWatHome!  But again, where do you find such information on all new enhancements and fixes?  There ought to be a release guide.

I did discover that one problem has been fixed where icons for apps installed on the SD card show as the default green and white "bot" icon after a battery pull reset.  It appears that now the HTC Sense interface is restarted automatically after reboot.  The reboot takes a little longer than it used to but it saves the user from having to force stop HTC Sense.

I am hoping that the problem with the volume rocker getting "stuck" on media volume instead of ringer volume has been solved.  It hasn't reoccurred for me since the update but it was so intermittent it is hard to say.

Ok, great, now just how does this new screenshot feature work.  Power + Home doesn't work for me and really doesn't make sense.  The second I press power, my Explorer goes to sleep with or with out home. Also, where are these screenshots saves?
Thanks
